NEFF Wellness Center
The NEFF Wellness Center is a neurological rehabilitation center but more importantly, it is the heart of the Neuro-Efficiency Foundation. In fact, Neuro-Efficiency Foundation was founded with the main goal of establishing a wellness center in Montreal, and hopefully many more across the country, by raising funds and awareness for its cause. This primary wellness center regroups all the necessary services to heal mind, body & soul, under one roof.
The NEFF Wellness Center is our way of achieving our mission: to educate, assist and accompany any individual with a spinal cord injury, also known as a SCI injury. We also provide spinal cord injury support and services to those who are living with a tetraplegia injury or quadriplegia injury or any other neurological injury and to their families. It is a one-of-a-kind establishment which fosters an environment where everyone’s life has purpose and meaning, and everyone has access to affordable care in a timely manner.
What Makes Us Unique
As mentioned above, our wellness center is a neurological rehabilitation center and a one-of-a-kind establishment. Most foundations or organizations similar to NEFF focus predominantly on traumatic brain injury patients or neurological conditions caused by TBI. We, on the other hand, offer our support and services to any person with a SCI injury, cervical spine injury or any other neurological injury, not only TBIs. This includes physical, mental, technical and advocacy services, all under the same roof.
The healthcare professionals working at the NEFF Wellness Center are knowledgeable and experienced and value your time, agency, and autonomy. They will humbly and compassionately educate, assist and accompany you and your loved ones throughout your spinal injury rehabilitation journey.
The NEFF Wellness Center is not only a safe and supportive space for those affected by a spinal cord injury, cervical spine injury or any other neurological injury, it is also accessible to the families and friends of these individuals. It is often too easy to overlook the impact that these types of situations can have on the family, or support system, of the individuals with neurological injuries. In many cases, they are in much need of support and services but simply have nowhere to turn. The NEFF Wellness Center will always seek to include, support, and offer its services to any of its members, whether it is the neurologically injured individual, a family member or a friend.
Finally, we want to invite all those who feel called to volunteer or participate at the NEFF Wellness Center to contact us.
